Home Depot.com will not accept paypal, a popup note from paypal "please use another payment method". Walmart.com is good.

I know you can use PayPal on HomeDepot.com in the US because I just tried it.

However since you are in Canada I'm not sure if that option is available there. From quick internet searches it seems perhaps it might not be available on HomeDepot.com in Canada but I don't know that for sure.

I apologize for any frustration caused when you were unable to make a purchase on Home Depot, @RonG1972. Typically, when you receive a message advising you to select a different payment method, it means PayPal's Security System is declining the payment. The Security System reviews all transactions that take place, and if it detects higher-than-average risk, it can limit what payment methods are available or fully decline the transaction at that time. 

To help ensure payments flow smoothly, I recommend ensuring you're logging in from a consistent device with your location services turned on. If you're unable to use a different payment method, I'd recommend waiting 48 hours before trying to make the payment again. If you receive the same error message after one attempt, please reach out to Customer Support here to see if they have any other options.
