Limit of Friends and Family

I have a friend from Canada wants to send money to me for more than $3,000, but when he uses F&F, Paypal doesn't allow him to send.

I saw the Friends and Family option can send up to $4,000.

I tried to request money to him but when he paid, he can only pay with G$S, which I will get a fee.

He is From Canada so I assume that him as a sender, he can do F&F to my account which based in Malaysia.

because he has done it before to my account, that means it can be done (last time he did it for over $1,000).

the question is how much is the limit to be able to pay F&F?

I'm sorry to hear your friend is having trouble sending you money. If their account isn't verified, they may be able to lift or raise the transaction limits by completing it. They may also be running into our Security System. I suggest having them contact Customer Support for assistance investigating this further. They can reach Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal website. Support is also available through Facebook Private Message or Twitter Direct Message.

I thought, once you linked your bank account to your Paypal, it was verified. because we both have linked our bank account, but still it is not verified.

what is the procedure to be verified for personal account?
