Hello there I sent someone using PayPal balance my refund took days until PayPal automatically cancelled unexpectedly. I contacted the person he refunded me again. The process is still pending and it didn't give an expected time like before where is my money? Shouldn't the refund be within seconds since I used paypal balance?
1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process. It goes as an echeque and can take 5 business days to clear from the bank to paypal who would then credit your balance.
2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
