New user here. I tried to verify my card but sadly I failed. I was given 6 codes from my bank and tried the 4 first and 4 last but still failed. I'm asking if the verification fee will be returned and should I enroll other card ?

Every time you request a code to confirm a card or bank account it cancels the previous request/code.
If you input the first code to arrive it would be the cancelled one.
Do that 3 times with the first code and you would no longer be able to confirm your card or bank account that way.
The correct code would have been the second (or last) code you requested.
You would need to ask customer services to add it for you.
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

1. I also tried the latest code. I received a 6 digit code. I tried the first 4 digits and the last 4 digits but still failed. Is there something wrong with my input?
2. Will the verification fee be returned to me even if I failed the verification?
3. Should I use other bank in linking a card?

Hello @ user_rr25,
Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting! Thanks @kernowlass.
I am sorry to know that you're finding difficulties verifying your card. When you try to confirm a card, the charge appears on your card statement with a 4-digit code and the word PAYPAL, for example : PAYPAL1234 or 1234PAYPAL. In this case, you may remove the card and try to confirm it again to see if that works. If you still receive only 6 digits code, please reach out to the card issuer to find the correct code or us by clicking contact option on our website for further assistance.
In regards to the Verifications fees, PayPal may charge a card a temporary $1.00 amount whenever card information is added, edited, updated, or changed. This is an important security feature that is an industry standard for online processing because it allows us to verify that you are the account holder of the card and that the card information is correct. This is commonly referred to as a "pre-authorization." However, this charge is only temporary and will never be permanently claimed by PayPal. While each card issuer may vary, the $1.00 will be returned to your card balance and it is not permanent.
You may try to add a local bank or VISA card and can transfer funds to it.
I hope this helps,
Ayesha
