Can I use a Target Red Card on Paypal?

I recently applied and received a Target Red Card (Mastercard) and have tried to add it into my PayPal wallet multiple times. I keep getting a payment declined message and I'm not sure why; am I not allowed to use the Red Card on PayPal?

Unfortunately, you cannot use Target Red card on PayPal. Please read this article to know the cards that can be used on PayPal. You can reach out to the Support Team during business hours by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page for any additional help. If your unable to login or are not in access of your PayPal account, you can connect with us via phone call as "as a Guest" (this does not require you to sign in to your PayPal account).
