METRO BANK DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO LINK BANK ACCOUMT

I am trying to link my bank (METRO BANK) [a UK bank] to my paypal, but it won't work it always says.. "We're sorry, we're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later." I really need it to be linked can someone help? I tried everything.

Paypal doesn't accept all banks and it doesn't look as if Metro is a bank that they accept.

You can try a bank they accept or add a card instead?
