Paypal sent me an email notifying me of a transaction to an armory for $799. Not only did I not do this transaction, but I am very alarmed that someone could breach my Paypal account to buy goods from an armory!! This clearly is criminal activity, someone who is hacking into people's accounts to buy guns, ammo or other weapons!!! And I can't even call Paypal to talk to anyone!!! I sent a "message" thru their texting option, but does anyone know of a way to actually reach someone??
This is very serious and needs to be reported to authorities and the source of it tracked down!!!!!

I received email yesterday, 02/26/2024 that stated:
A charge of $677.63 has been approved from your account by Grey Wolf Armory LLC.
At first it looked like a legit PayPal email & I quickly logged in to make sure things looked ok. They did & I changed my password before logging out.
*I just looked at email again... The PayPal logo looked fine at first glance. But when I got to the bottom it showed "Pay-Pal". It also showed "my" mailing address being in CA & I live on the East Coast!

I got this email yesterday and thought it was odd that this 'armory' was sending me a PayPal receipt. They had my address listed in Florida, while I don't live there & I would never buy a gun, so that was another red flag. I marked it as junk mail and had it deleted

Today 07/09/2024, I received the same email from a "support" Lone [removed] LLC. for the amount of $708.71.
As soon as I received I noticed the email (even the PayPal Logo) was not written in the same format. Also, The delivery address was to be shipped to [removed]. I am living in FL.
I do not touch any link and on a private browser, I log in to my Paypal account. The transaction was not on my transaction history. My bank account was not debited at all. The email's original sender was: Lone [removed] [removed]
My Recommendation:
1.- Do not touch anything on emails you are not expecting.
2.- Do not click on email addresses or links.
3.- Check your PayPal and Bank account to see if transactions were posted. If posted, contact the Paypal Fraud Department and your Bank Institution.
4.- Change Passwords to unique. I use a program named LastPass. This Program creates a unique password every time I create a new login and keep a record of it. (passwords are so difficult that, sometimes I have to go to my LastPass account and search for the password).
5.- Block the email or put it on Blacklist.
6.- If you are receiving too many fraudulent emails, is a possibility your email is on the Dark Web. I recommend you read this article about it. [removed]
