Unauthorized Charges from Thrive Market Inc

Today, July 20, 2024, I received two emails from PayPal about two unauthorized charges from Thrive Market Inc. $79.60 and $12.00 two separate transactions. I started a dispute while I was a passenger in the car on the $12. I tried to start a dispute on the $79.60 but lost cell service. I got home and I received an email that the $12 was refunded because it was not authorized. Secondly, the purchases what ever they are, were being shipped to me at 9211 Bolsa Ave, #124-125, Westminster, CA 92683, United States. I live 428 miles away from where I live. I have never lived in Westminster. WTF why would PayPal notify me of unauthorized charges, refund one of the charges and release the $79.60. I am so upset. I can't go back in and dispute it until the payment has been made. I have not seen the $79.60 charged on my bank. What do I do?

What does it say on the transaction for the larger amount on your paypal account ie payment / completed / sent or pending?

Did you eventually get this resolved? Today is October 20th, 2024 and I woke up this morning just like you had, with two emails stating purchases were made at Thrive Market totaling over $200. Mine was being shipped to Oklahoma however. I wasn't able to file a dispute immediately due to a busy schedule but I had two more emails later on in the afternoon stating I was refunded for them both. I'm curious as to why this is a "thing"? Is Thrive Market involved in this or are hackers really in love with that site? Lol.

Thrive should refund you. They shouldn’t be saving your information. A “Coady Nguyen” with ip 134.199.90.201 from TX charged my PayPal today. I’m **bleep** my info was saved there even though I haven’t used the service in years. Chat support took care of it in minutes— seems like this is something that they are used to dealing with.
