Completed payment transaction but amount not debited from linked bank account

Hi, I used paypal to purchase a tour in another country.  The transaction went through and I immediately received an email from the company confirming the payment and booking (with tickets).  When I checked my bank account (which is linked to my paypal account) it is not showing the transaction nor debiting the payment from my balance.  I made similar payments on the same day and those transactions debited from my bank account on the same day.  I rang the bank and they advised that it is most likely a paypal process.  I don't understand why this hasn't happened with other payments I've made - is it something to do with the company (who I paid) and their processes?

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller upfront for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.

Takes 5-7 working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.
