Merchant Fees - confusion!

I'm taking first foray into virtual payments and shopping around. But I don't quite understand merchant fees. How much does PayPal charge me for someone here in the UK to send me a payment? Is it 1.2% + 30p? Thanks for your help!

This is the page I've looked at previously, which states:

Standard rate for receiving domestic transactions

Card funded payment from a user of our Terms for Payments without a PayPal account

1.2% + fixed fee

Is that what I'm looking at? I need to understand what I'll be charged before I commit to using PayPal for this.

Thanks

Hello everyone! Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! Thank you @kernowlass for your providing the solution on this one.

@WPD1, I'm sorry to hear there's some confusion regarding our rates. You can find the transaction rate fees in the links you and @kernowlass provided. At the time of this post, the standard rate is the 2.9% + fixed fee listed on the Commercial Transaction Rates table. The 1.2% you're referencing is only for transactions where a "Card funded payment from a user of our Terms for Payments without a PayPal account". You can read the Terms for Payments without a PayPal account here.  You'll also find the QR Code transactions rates listed on that Commercial Transaction Rates table as well.

I hope that helps!
