Can't add Paypal as a payment method on Coinbase

I'm trying to transfer some funds from Coinbase to Paypal.
In Coinbase i try to add paypal as a Payment Method with the second option, which redirects me to PayPal.


After logging in, i'm redirected again to Coinbase where i see a check sign and a done button

The problem is that the paypal method never gets added to the list, and i'm unable to transfer the funds.
Both Coinbase and Paypal have the same email address and personal information.

Is there some sort of trick to it?

SAME here. Exactly same scenario and issue. Can buy as much as I want from Coinbase, but cannot add PayPal to withdraw, even after it says (checkmark) 'Done'

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with crypto transfers. Here is how to receive a cryptocurrency by sharing your PayPal destination address:

Go to the Finances tab.
Tap your crypto balance.
Tap the image Transfer arrows.
Tap Receive.
Choose which coin you want to receive, for example, BTC
Your QR code & Bitcoin address will appear.
You can either Copy or Email the address.

More information about Crypto transfers can be found here. We’ll let you know by email when you receive crypto. You can always view the transfer status within your Activity.

We aren’t trying to transfer crypto, simply trying to add PayPal as an option to cover purchases or to cash out. Keeps saying the payment option has been successfully added, yet it doesn’t show up as a payment option. Spent 5 hours with Coinbase and they say it’s on the PayPal end.

Hello. Did you get this resolved. I am having the exact same problem. I have been able to transfer funds from Coinbase before. I don’t know why this is happening now.

I’m having the exact same issue at the moment. I’ve been able to withdraw using PayPal before but for some reason my PayPal account has unlinked so I’ve added it again and it literally says done, then sits on a loading screen 😕

After facing the same issues I added the payment method on the buy tab, then when I switched to sell it stayed there on the sell tab.
