is 163.com address a scam?

• Last week I placed an order and paid using PayPal, the order never returned to the order page to complete the transaction. The address on the resulting invoice ends in <removed>. Have emailed the seller several times, no response.  I am concerned that this is a scam.

how do i get a refund.  i was scammed as well from 163.com. See below.  Ordered patio furniture and got a necklace.  I have email and nothing.  web site is removed.

Gather all of your evidence of the scam and send it to PayPal with an explanation of what happened.  That is what I did and was promptly refunded by PayPal.

You're lucky. It took me 5 months of fighting PayPal and ended up having to involve my bank to get a refund!!

This may have been solved by now, but I do know for a fact 163.com is a valid email domain. I have a friend in Hong Kong. His email address is at 163.com and he is someone I know personally and not an internet scammer.

THIS HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED.  I GET ZERO RESPONSE FROM THIS PERSON.  I HAVE FILED WITH THE FTC AND NOW WITH PAYPAL

I contacted Paypal through direct message on Twitter @askpaypal. I explained the situation and was refunded within a day or two.

It may be a valid domain. That does not mean this specific address is not a scam.

As soon as I hit pay and saw the sender email I knew it was a scam. There should be some way to cancel payment within a certain time. I tried immediately to cancel and PayPals only option is contact the seller. Like the scammer is going to cancel my order?! I got I can make this work!

i just had a 163 address wipe my account clean?!?!!?

in fact,  my account that has been standing since 2004, now says it was created in 2022!  Paypal needs to ban these people from using their services. 

I just lost my 18 year old account, it has been set back to absolutely brand new status.   decades of history and now my Debit card has been deactivated. 

Tell you what, my cats are about to get mega treats because they woke me up and I checked my phone and I had a 17 long count string of emails from paypal saying all kinds of changes have been made to my account.

Ive changed all my info now,  but Im thoroughly **bleep** now.

Yes, 163.com is a total scam site. I have lost $175 to them and PayPal refuses to honor my dispute. I received a trinket bracelet instead of the IPhone I paid for. PayPay uses that tracking number as the item I ordered. I have no further dealings with PayPal. You will not get any help from PayPal.
